We’ve been very busy at PayNearMe over the past year. A few months ago, we added 3,000 stores to our retail network through Fidelity Express. Then, we added 8,000 more locations through another large national retailer, increasing to 28,000 the number of stores where consumers can pay for bills and more with cash. In the next few months, we’ll add another 2,000 stores. Through these stores, we’re processing over $1 billion in cash payments annually.

Since we merged with the talented team at Prism Money almost 18 months ago, we’ve been making real-time bill payment and accurate bill presentment accessible to all consumers, regardless of their preferred method of payment — cash, card, or ACH. But, because PayNearMe is so closely associated with our pay-at-retail cash capabilities, we needed a new name.

We chose Handle Financial because it reflects our role as a financial technology platform provider that innovates on behalf of businesses and the consumers that they serve. Stated differently, when it comes to modern bill presentment and payment, we Handle it for everyone. ;^)

Handle Financial offers products under three brands:

  1. PayNearMe has been enabling government agencies and businesses to accept cash payments remotely since 2009. PayNearMe’s network of 28,000 trusted retail locations includes 7-Eleven®, CVS Pharmacy®, Family Dollar®, Fidelity Express and ACE Cash Express stores. Organizations using PayNearMe include Comcast, the IRS, Greyhound bus, and the California Department of Child Support Services, among many others. Follow PayNearMe on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn: @PayNearMe.
  2. Prism Money is the only financial management tool that gives users a clear picture of their banking and bills in an easy-to-navigate app and enables them to make same-day payments faster than bank bill pay and other service providers. Users get up-to-date account monitoring and can pay bills using debit/credit cards and ACH with just a swipe within the app. Follow Prism Money on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn: @PrismMoney.
  3. Handle Platform is the technology that powers PayNearMe and Prism, which we provide to other companies via API’s and SDK’s. Visa and Quicken are among the companies working with Handle Platform today.

We are proud to announce that Handle Platform is debuting at Finovate this week with an on-stage demo and presentation on April 26, 2017 at approximately 9:35 a.m. PST.

We look forward to exciting developments to come.
